I ended up choosing a different Master's degree altogether. I chose to enroll in Arizona State University’s Master of Computer Science with an emphasis in Cybersecurity. This spawned from my taking of Duke University’s Software Engineering Specialization.

Arizona State University has a very fair and reasonable way of gaining admission which starts with three “courses” that, if you pass, and meet other requirements for admission, you will be permitted to enroll in the Master’s program. If you do not wish to do so, Coursera has a separate Big Data Mastertrack that if you pass all three with an 80% or higher over the course of the year, you will gain admission to the master’s degree with nine credit hours completed.

I write about programming and computer science as well as review Coursera courses I have taken related to the aforementioned topics.
