Mathematics for Machine Learning: Linear Algebra — Week Five
The final week of this course has been completed. It has been a fun and exciting ride. I feel as though my grasp of Linear Algebra, as it relates to Data Science and Machine Learning, has improved greatly.
Week five centers around combining all of the knowledge built throughout the course into one final project. We learn about eigenvalues and eigenvectors. We then use these eigenvalues and eigenvectors to implement Google’s Pagerank Algorithm.
The project is challenging enough to require some serious thought be put into it, but not so hard that it is off-putting. All in all, it is a great challenge and I recommend anyone interested in Machine Learning to take this course as this week teaches not only Linear Algebra but history about Google’s search engine.
Thank you for reading!
