Requesting assistance is an important part of learning to code. Many times, you will face a brick wall that you are unable to pass alone. For many problems, google is an important resource. There are always going to be some problems that google alone will not be enough. For this reason, it is important to seek out a group of individuals to help you.

Having a group of other programmers, whether they be students or professionals, can be immensely helpful. I have realize recently that my motivation to continue on in my coursework waivers from time to time and I get stints of four, five, six days where I do not feel like progressing. While I know this is a bad place to be, it is difficult to escape it alone. This is why I have chosen to seek counsel with other programmers, not only for them to help me out of this rut, but also for them to teach me new methods to accomplish my tasks.

Groups of coders are common to find. They exist in most towns or cities. When I was searching for a group near where I live, I saw many other groups in nearby cities, nearby towns, and even nearby states. The number of groups I stumbled upon was astounding. I did not realize that such a diverse and populated subset of individuals existed and had organized meetings each week. I will now be joining one such group and will soon be working with others to strengthen and to develop my code.

Thank you for reading!
