Patience Is Necessary For Programming

While programming, it is very easy to get impatient, to get frustrated. I have had many occurrences where I could not understand why something failed to work, yet I could not find the issue. One lesson I learned that has become more valuable as time progresses, is that when you get frustrated, take a break. Breaks will help you to find the error in your thinking and will allow you to regain composure. I know when I get impatient, I start to change little details all over the place, rather than stepping back and thinking through the problems I now face.

If you are having difficulty, try to take a step back and think through what needs to be done. It helps immensely.

Thank you for reading!
