I enrolled in a class by Duke University called Programming Foundations with JavaScript, HTML and CSS. This is the first course in the Java Programming and Software Engineering Fundamentals specialization offered by Coursera. While this is my first course in the specialization, it has piqued my interest in almost no time at all! I began this course on June 27, 2018 and by June 29, 2019 I have completed the first week of the course as well as a majority of the second week. This course is addictive and extraordinarily entertaining.

The first week of this course is dedicated to teaching HTML and CSS. The instructors teach a basic understanding of HTML and nesting in order to get students to learn how to create a well put together website.

A picture of my website

While my website is still in its incubation period, it will start to look prettier as I progress through this course.

I personally find it inspiring to see how far I have come in just a couple of days. I look forward to continuing this course and shall post another blog in a couple days. Though, the next blog shall discuss week 2.

Thank you for reading!
